Good Mood

I have had lot of the the last few days. I have not cleaned my house or done any other responsibilities. The fun part is what I have done. I was reading my scrapbooking magazine the other day and it said to try different angles when it came to taking pictures of kids. Later that day Audrey got all dressed up in a princess dress and hat and started dancing around the living room. I layed down on the floor and started snaping pictures as she danced around me. I got some amazing pictures of her. Yesterday when I should have been cleaning my house I got out my scrapbook stuff and completed 12 different pages. The pages turned out really cute.

All of this fun has put me in a really good mood.

She still is a "JOY" to me.

Today when the wind got really really bad and Bubbles wanted some attention, I had Kindra get Bubbles and bring her into the garage. I did not want the girls playing outside in the wind. The girls had a great time playing with her in the garage for the afternoon. When Ray got home the camp chairs came out and a tent which Kindra set it up by herself. After a evening of fun this is what I found in the garage. When I asked if Ray was really attached to the dog he said "She still is a JOY to me".

What happens in one week at the Ruckman house?
This past week has been full of fun and sickness. The flu has made its way around the house starting with Kindra on Monday, Audrey on Thursday, Dad on Friday, and Mom on Sunday. But on the good days we have had lots of fun.

Kindra loves having a dog, Bubbles and Kindra spend a lot of time together. As soon as she gets home from school Kindra goes outside to play with Bubbles. They sure love each other.

Last Wednesday night for dinner we ate outside on the patio. Bubbles loved having us outside with her. Bubble loved Audrey the most (she drops the most food) by the end of the meal Audrey was sharing her pasta with Bubbles. I am not sure if pasta is good for dogs, but Bubbles liked it.

There was no school on Friday so I took Kindra to the zoo for her birthday trip. It was only 2 months late. Kindra deiced this year to take a friend to the zoo instead of having a party. It was really fun her friend Jason Walters had never been to the San Diego wild animal park before. We all had a great time.

All the kids got a turn to feed a Lorikeet.

My favorite part, a 2 month old elephant. This poor mom was pregnant for 26 months.

Chocolate Pudding

Last night for our family home evening treat we had chocolate pudding. I am not sure if they will remember the friend articles we read, but I am sure that the chocolate pudding as a favorite. Audrey eat all of her's then finished mine and her Rays as well.

Let's go ride a bike

At grandma's this weekend Kindra jumped on a bike a took off without almost any help. I am so proud of her. She is saving her money so that she can go get her own bike really soon.

I think she would take a bath 2 to 3 times a day if I let her.

After a accident last week Audrey said she needed her binky & blanket.

I found her like this pantieless and all sound asleep.

Life with a Dog
"Bubbles"

Audrey thinks that it is really fun to climb inside the dogs kennel and play like she is a dog. I guess that is okay. She has been pretending like she is a dog for years now.
Aunt Shauna came to help us train Bubbles. She has been a lot of help. We were sad to see her leave. Bubble is doing a lot better, she even knows her name.
Bubble favorite game is tung a war.
Kindra loves to play with her. It is quite a even match.
We found a water dog. After giving Bubble her bath I was spraying off the patio when Bubble and Audrey started playing in the water. Shauna and I were laughing so hard at the two of them that our checks hirt.

Bubbles is has brought lots of love and fun to our family.
