As members of the search and resuce team Ray and I got FREE three day hoppers to Disneyland. So we decided to go get out tickets before the baby came. We took Grandpa Rick and Grandma Linda with us. It was really busy due to the holiday weekend. We made the most of it. Here are a few pictures from out short day. The girls are looking forward to going back in a few weeks with Caleb and Logan.

Valentine's Day 2008
I decided that this year for Valenties I would do things that would make the people around me feel loved. It was kind of funny because a few day's before Valenties Kindra asked me if we were going to have heart shaped pancakes for breakfast. She told me that it was a tradition. I smiled because I have only made heart shaped pancakes once in my life and that was last year for Valenties.
So guess what on Valenties morning we had heart shaped pancakes. Ray and I gave the girls matching tshirts and a book, but some how did not get a picture.
We hope that everyone had a great Valenties day!

After we got to the campground, drove back home to solve a problem or two and picked up pizza. Ray decided it was time to teach Kindra how to build a fire. They worked for quite a while getting all of the wood ready, then to my suprise Ray got out the flint and still and Kindra built her first fire without a match, lighter or paper. I was really impressed.
The next morning we braved the wind and hiked around on the rocks. Kindra is amzaing and Audrey has no fear. It is really scary what they will climb up without any help. Ray and I learned that next time they both need helmets, and an adult with them at all times.
Kindra and Audrey have discovered the joy of a robe. I know we live in the desert were we don't have to worry about anything freezing, but in the morning the house is a little cold. Kindra got a new robe in the mail on Saturday and Audrey is so exicted about having Kindra's old one.
Find the positive in life and life looks a lot better.
