Kindra's 8th Birthday

I can't believe my little girl is eight.

For the birthday party this year Kindra had 4 friends come over. The girls made a craft, played games, and then made their own cupcake cakes. It is hard to believe how much icing and sprinkles were used.
Each cup cake cake looked different.

It is a Ruckman tradition that you get your first pocket knife on the 8th birthday. Ray took some time a decided to get Kindra a small Gerber multi tool. Kindra was really excited!

She also got her first full set of scriptures. It is so much fun to watch you kids grow up. It just happens so very fast.

Daddy Daughter Weekend

For Christmas Kindra's got her own backpack and hiking boats from her dad. Ray planned a trip with Kindra down Black Canyon. Black Canyon is below Hoover Dam on the Colorado River.

Ray and Kindra were not alone on their adventure. Uncle David, Larry, Uncle Lew, Arden and a few more friends joined them.

They started down white rock canyon on Friday Morning the 18th of January. It was a 3.2 mile hike to the river. Where the boat was waiting for them.

Kindra loved the river. This picture is Kindra riding on Uncle David's boat. The boat has foot peddles, Kindra loved peddling the boat 2.5 miles with over 250lbs of weight.

Black Canyon is full of Hot Springs.

This is the crew taking some time to relax.

The trip was a success and Kindra had a great time with her dad.

Our Christmas Audrey had such a good time with the treats in her stocking, I almost thought she forgot about the presents. She made and "A" for Audrey out of the candy.
